WHAT IS NOTARIZATION?
For many reasons, including the pandemic, it has become easier to designate someone to attend a closing. This is especially true if the closing is in another state. Doubleup Consulting will assist you (or your clients) in making sure the documents are notarized correctly and timely so that the Closing can be completed.
You may come to our office at the Land Title Building located in The Bronx, New York. We have done our best to make the office Covid-safe using plexiglass and wearing masks and not sharing pens with each other. You may call or use our online booking system for an appointment. We are doing our upmost to schedule and at the same time observe proper social distancing.
We can scan the documents for you so that you can send them to the relevant parties.
Our building has 24 hour access to Federal Express and UPS which makes it convenient for you to mail the packages.
We can do this for you on weekends by appointment.
How it works:
- A notarized Power of Attorney is signed and notarized allowing the designated party to appear at the closing. The Power of Attorney is restricted to the Closing and once the Closing is completed the document cannot be used for other purposes.
- Our professional closers review all documents to make sure they are signed and notarized correctly.
- The documents are then scanned so they can be circulated to all relevant parties.
Our office has 24 hour access to federal express and UPS.
Fees are determined by the amount of notaries required and travel when applicable. —
